Looking to enhance your staff orientation? The American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey can visit your site and provide training for your camp staff. Our experienced facilitators specialize in teambuilding games and activities, camper and staff management, as well as creating a positive camp culture. All of our trainings are designed to engage participants through interactive discussions and activities while fostering a sense of unity among staff members.

We customize each training session based on your program’s goals, age and experience of staff, issues from previous summers, and new initiatives being introduced. We are available to lead sessions highlighting one topic, typically 1 - 3 hours, or extended workshops that combine multiple areas of focus, approximately 3 – 6 hours. Content is adjusted as necessary to meet the needs of staff working with specific age groups or in different environments such as day/resident camp and urban/suburban settings. Our staff coordinates with leadership to ensure that the content and training aligns with the camp’s mission and objectives.
