The Scott Ralls Fund was established in memory of our friend, mentor, former President and volunteer for the American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey, and camp owner and director, Scott Ralls.

We were devastated when Scott passed away in September 2020 and immediately our association wanted to find a way to honor his legacy. Scott was an enormous advocate for our industry and worked tirelessly to ensure all camps were able to operate successfully.

To honor Scott’s memory the American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey has created a fund that is specifically for nonprofit accredited members of our Affiliate to apply for grants for capital improvements.

Since it’s inception, the Scott Ralls Fund has distrubuted $372,000 to ACA, NY & NJ Accredited non-profit camp programs. Those funds have been used for enhancing the camp experience through capital improvements such as bunks, STEM labs, updated maintenance facilities, and more.

To donate to our ongoing efforts and help ensure that our nonprofit accredited members have long-term improvements to their properties, and, thus, to children’s experiences, please click the DONATE button below. Every penny will go into our endowment and be distributed to summer camps.

If you would like additional information about the Scott Ralls Fund, please contact our Executive Director, Alicia Skovera.
